COVID PROTOCOL – UPDATED OCTOBER 3, 2021

 

Proof of Vaccination Checks – North Delta Rec and Sungod 

 

Proof of Vaccination

Anyone born in 2009 or earlier  will be required to present proof of vaccination. This includes a digital version or a paper copy of the BC Vaccine Passport and 1 piece of government issued photo ID

  • Youth 12 – 18 not required to show photo ID
  • Vaccination cards provided at immunization locations will not be accepted.

 

Proof of vaccination is not required for the following:

  • Anyone 0 – 11 years of age (athletes & spectators)
  • Athletes 12 – 21 participating in that day’s game they are attending / playing.
  • Coaches, Team Managers, Safety Manager & Referees involved in that particular day’s game.

 

Access to the Facilities

  • No early entrance into the facilities will be permitted. Entrance will be permitted five minutes before game start time
  • All passport checks are to be done at the front entrance
  • Please line up single file at the entrance to the facility and do not enter the facility until you have been screened by our Facility Host
  • You must leave the arena immediately after the game, FIVE minutes after the game the stands must be empty – to allow the next group to enter .
  • No loitering. Please wait for your player either in your car, outside or by player exit doors.

 

MASK

    • Required to be worn by anyone entering the arena, including spectators, players, coaches, referees, managers.
    • Bench staff are required to wear masks
    • Spectators masks must be worn at all times.

 

*** There will be zero tolerance for any verbal/physical assaults or  any aggression towards our volunteers manning the entrance. ZERO! Police will be called & you will be banned from the arenas & any future games.

 

SUNGOD ARENA PROTOCOL

 

•The City of Delta requires masks to be worn by everyone over the age of 12 when entering their facilities. ( players, coaching staff, referees, timeclock, spectators) It is recommended anyone under the age of 12 to wear a mask.

•Dressing rooms are available & open, enter through front door, head down the ramp to the lower lobby. We recommend that players keep their face masks on until helmet is on. Maintain distance within the dressing rooms when possible. It is recommended that coaching staff wear masks on the bench during the game.

•Absolutely no sharing of drinks or food.Make sure every player has their own water bottle (with nozzle), clearly labelled, filled up athomeprior to coming in.

 

•Bleachers are open for spectators. Spectators must wear face masks at all time and maintain social distance from others. Once the game has ended we recommend that spectators exit the building and not linger in the lobbies.

 

•As per City guidelines, warm ups are not permitted indoors –until further notice all warmups need to be done outside.

 

Anyone feeling sick, or experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, should stay home. Any participant with suspected or confirmed Covid-19 contact should not attend until all steps required by public health authorities have been completed.

 

 

NORTH DELTA REC ARENA PROTOCOL
