Referees

ALL ND OFFICIALS 

The 2010 - 2011 season is fast approaching and it is time to get started. Please ensure that all returning referee's update your Horizon account. I will be assigning pre-season games. All returning referee's will have to enroll in a BCAHA referee Clinic. Check www.bchockey.net for course dates.
For all potential new referee's, please email me at ric@ndhockey.com if you would like to referee in the 2010 - 2011 season. Since there is always a wait list every year, NDMHA will be holding try-outs for new officials on THURSDAY SEPT 2nd @ 6:00 - 7:15 PM at Sungod Arena.  If you are coming to the try-outs, please bring your skates, track suit or warm clothing, helmet and whistle. There will be up 30+ potential referee's tryting out for up to 15 spots.
Once the tryouts are completed and the new officials accepted for the 2010 - 2011 season, we will hold a clinic in North Delta. Date of the clinic has not been fianalized.

Oct 23, 2010  Level 1 & 2        Douglas College

Please enroll through www.bchockey.net / clinic registration. These are the only dates for the lower mianlnad this year. If you do not clinic, you will not be able to referee in 2011.
All officials 18 or older require a Criminal record check done every 3 years. If you have not done one, you have until Dec 30th 2010 to complete this process, or you will not be able to ref in 2011.
